Day 1: Copenhagen:
Arrival in Copenhagen & pick up from the airport for transfer to the hotel. Overnight inCopenhagen.
Day 2: Copenhagen – DFDS overnight ferry:
After breakfast go on a sightseeing tour in Copenhagen. Someof the fascinating sites include the new harbour of Nyhavn, the Royal Palace Amalienborg, the Gefion fountainand the wistful Little Mermaid. Copenhagen’s one-thousand-year history has been written by ambitious kings,inspiring artists and celebrated designers as is evident in its historical buildings, ancient streets, dozens ofworld-class museums and galleries. In the afternoon go on your own the harbour and board DFDS Seawaysovernight ferry to Oslo. On board enjoy a Scandinavian buffet dinner. Accommodation in comfortable cabins.(B, D)
Day 3: Oslo:
Enjoy breakfast before arriving in Oslo. When you arrive, there will be a bus and a local guide tomeet you & take you on a sightseeing tour. Already at the turn of the 10th century a settlement was built at theOslo Fjord. During the 11th century, this settlement grew into the medieval city of Oslo, an important royalstronghold & trading centre, making Oslo one of the oldest cities in Scandinavia. See the famous sights suchas the unique sculpture park Vigelandparken, Holmenkollen Ski jump, the Town House, the Houses ofParliament, the Royal Palace & the Akerhus fortress & make a visit to Viking Ship Museum. The tour ends inthe city center. Go to your hotel & check in & after have the afternoon free to discover Oslo on your own.Overnight in Oslo. (B)
Day 4: Oslo – Bergen:
After breakfast, today travel with Norway in a Nutshell tour to Bergen. Today you willtravel by train and the famous Flåm railway and cruise on the Sognefjord. You will drive through wild andwonderful countryside, magnificent mountain areas, & pass thundering waterfalls. In the early evening, arrivein Bergen. Bergen is an international town with small-town charm & atmosphere, surrounded by sevenrounded, lush mountains. The Hanseatic wharf Bryggen with its pastel-colour wooden houses, windingcobblestone streets, and Old Bergen are just a few of many attractions that make Bergen a real place ofenchantment. Overnight in Bergen.
Day 5: Bergen – Balestrand:
After breakfast, go on your own to the harbour and leave Bergen by boat. Todaycruise 4 hours on the Sognefjord to the amazing village of Balestrand. Dinner and overnight in Balestrand. (B, D)
Day 6:Balestrand – Geiranger:
After breakfast, today you will travel by public bus from Balestrand toHellesylt (on your own). From Hellesylt to Geiranger cruise on the Geirangerfjord that is called the mostbeautiful fjord in the world. Here you will find scenery that will leave you breathless. Dinner and overnight inGeiranger. (B, D)
Day 7:Geiranger – Oslo:
After breakfast, today you will have another fantastic day when you travel by publicbus and train on the hair-pin bend roads up to Dalsnibba from where you will have a fantastic view of one ofthe most beautiful scenic panoramas in the world. Travel by bus from Geiranger to Åndalsnes (on your own).Train from Åndalsnes to Oslo. Arrive back in Oslo. Overnight in Oslo. (B)
Day 8: Oslo – Stockholm:
After breakfast go on your own to the airport and leave Oslo by air. Overnight in Stockholm.
Day 9: Stockholm:
After breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour by coach and by boat. Stockholm is often called the “Beauty on Water” being built on 14 islands. See the Old Town with the Royal Palace and the Cathedral.The Old Town is in direct contrast with today’s modern city center. Overnight in Stockholm. (B)
Day 10: Stockholm:
After breakfast, Today it is time to say goodbye to Scandinavia! (B)
