Day 1: Belgrade (Arrival):
Arrival at “Nikola Tesla “International Airport. Regardless of your arrival time onday 1 of the tour, the guide will wait for you at the airport. The guide will meet you in the arrivals hall with yourname on the signboard. After a short ride of 20 minutes, you’ll be in the city’s center. Check-in at the hotel andtake the rest of the day to get more familiar with Belgrade, walk around or follow your guide’s recommendationfor dinner. Overnight at Belgrade.
Day 2: Belgrade (City tour):
After breakfast, sightseeing of Belgrade. Today’s historic Belgrade tour begins atthe daunting Kalemegdan Fortress, dramatically perched above the confluence of the Sava and Danuberivers. Built in stages between the 1st and 18th centuries, this fortress witnessed major defensive battles. Viewthe colorful surrounding park before continuing to Slavija and Republic Squares, bustling Knez MihailovaStreet, the imposing Saint Sava Temple, one of the world’s largest Orthodox churches. Rest of the day atleisure. Overnight in Belgrade (B)
Day 3: Belgrade (Northern Serbia :Novi Sad & Sremski Karlovci):
After breakfast, proceed for a trip to theCity of Novi Sad. On the way to the second-largest city in Serbia, You shall stop at the nearby town of SremskiKarlovci, the center of Serbian culture in the 18th century. Strolling through this picturesque town’s cobbledstreets will lead us to the first Serbian High School, which gave Serbian people several great writers andpoets. Along the way, You shall pay a visit to the Old Patriarch’s Court and theological complex – AssemblyChurch and Theological lyceum. Being in the very heart of the famous wine region, why not pay a visit to oneof the well-respected wine cellars. You can try Bermet wine, the most famous product in the area. Your nextstop is the second-largest fortress on the Danube river – Petrovaradin, one of the most important strategicpoints in the perpetual war between the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman Empires. You shall be introduced tothe legends of underground passages before you continue to “Serbian Athen “, as the City of Novi Sad isknown. As you stroll among great cultural institutions and historic buildings, you shall visit the oldest part ofNovi Sad, the Zmaj Jovina pedestrian zone. Here you will be introduced to the rich history of Novi Sad as yousee the monument to Svetozar Miletic, the famous Novi Sad Cathedral, Episcopal Church… After yoursightseeing, you will enjoy a traditional Serbian three-course lunch (Not Included) in one of the most famousrestaurants in the area. Enjoy your free afternoon and discover Novi Sad independently. Return to Belgrade inevening hours. Overnight in Belgrade. (B)
Day 4: Belgrade (Western Serbia :House on the Drina river, Sargan Eight train &The Wooden City) –Zlatibor:
After breakfast, it’s time to hit the road toward Western Serbia, known for its wild and untouchednature, tasty cuisine, and friendly and hospitable people. Your first stop is a world-famous attraction, “TheHouse on the Drina”, an isolated house made of logs on a river stone. After a photo stop and refreshment, youwill continue your trip to the famous Sargan Eight. A unique narrow-gauge railway nowadays serves only foramusement. You will pass and stop on several viewpoints during your ride, from which one can see fabulousviews over Mokra Gora. Authentic cars with wooden seats, wood-burning stoves, and characteristic rattling sound will take us back to 1925 when this railway was put in operation and made a connection betweenBelgrade and the Adriatic Sea. The next stop is Mećavnik, or Drvengrad (Wooden City). The famous directorEmir Kusturica (two times Palme D’Or in Cannes winner), decided to build it during the shooting of his film“Life is a miracle.” He chose to convey ruined wooden chalets from the mountain’s slopes, restore them, andform a new settlement. After you have fed our eyes and souls with beauty, you will finish your day inKraljeveVode, the tourist center of Zlatibor mountain. The region of Zlatibor is famous for its healthy air, folkarchitecture, native culture and traditions, wealthy and diverse ethnic heritage, its widely-renowned culinaryspecialties, healthy food, and the balmy climate. After the check-in, you’ll have free time to enjoy and relax.Overnight at Zlatibor. (B)
Day 5:Zlatibor (Western Serbia : Zlatibor Mountain – Uvac Special Nature Reserve) – Belgrade:
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Zlatibor in the morning, transfer to Uvac Special Natural Reserve. Afteronly one hour of driving, you’ll find ourselves in the pure beauty of Uvac Canyon. For centuries, the Uvac Riverhas been making its way through the mountains, leaving deep meanders and creating caves that attract manytourists. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a chance to see the mighty griffon vulture, whose population in Uvac is thelargest in Europe. The bird’s wingspan is about 3 m, and it can weigh up to 11 kg, thus making it the largestbird in Serbia. you will take a boat trip and follow the river as it twists and turns through the impressivelandscape, stopping at two caves called Ušak and Ledena (Ice). You’ll not leave the Reserve before you takesome fantastic photos from the viewpoints overlooking the canyon. After this exceptional experience, the tourwill return to Belgrade where we will arrive late in the afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight inBelgrade. (B)
Day 6: Belgrade (Departure):
After breakfast, Free time until your flight. Transfer to the airport for yourdeparture flight.(B)
