DAY 01



Arrive Trivendrum





Welcome to Trivendrum! You will be greeted at the airport by our guide and transferred to one of the popular resorts. Conveniently located in the city, our well-chosen resort has a pleasant atmosphere and nice facilities and amenities. You can have the rest of the day simply to relax at the resort or explore the surroundings a bit.



DAY 02



Trivendrum - Kovalam





After breakfast, we will drive about 16kms to Kovalam, which is a most visited vacation destination in Kerala. Being blessed with an abundance of attractive beaches and natural scenery, Kovalam is fetching in more and more tourists from all parts of the world. You will have a leisure afternoon at the Varkala Beach.



DAY 03



Kovalam





An exciting day is waiting for you! In addition to admire the wonderful scenery at the Koyalam Beach, you will engage in its many water sports. Let's warm up first by swimming and bathing in the clear waters. Afterwards, we wander into the sea for around 100 meters. Snorkeling is another popular activity among visitors. If you are adventurous enough, you may take part in it to see the colorful marine life. Then you can watch the fishermen get their catch and sample the various grilled fresh sea food. A sunbathing at the beach is absolutely a must for you. We will conclude the day after practicing Yoga and meditation.



DAY 04



Kovalam - Thothapali





This morning we will transfer to Thothapali houseboat, which is called Kettuvallam by local people. We then start a cruise around backwaters of Alleppey to enjoy the beautiful serenity of the backwaters. It is a very relaxing and enjoyable way to escape from the busy city life. The cruise journey will also give you insights about the traditional village life on the banks of the backwaters. We believe the peaceful night spend on the houseboat will be an unforgettable scene in your memory. Overnight in the houseboat.



DAY 05



Kumarakom





This morning we will continue to Kumarakom backwaters and Vembanand Lake, which are the destinations of our houseboat cruise. With coconut palms and villages lining up the banks, the cruise offers an escape in the midst of the bustling city life. Such a tranquil and pleasant atmosphere will make you feel like that time stand still for a moment. Then we will show you the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary. Check in at the hotel in Kumarakom.



DAY 06



Kumarakom - Periyar





Following breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for Periyar, which is 135kms away from Kumarakom. The drive takes about 4 hours. You will take a short break at the hotel. At around 15:00 we will visit one of the Spice Gardens or Plantations, which are local specialty.



DAY 07



Periyar - Munnar





Today we focus on an early morning excursion to the Periyar Wildlife Reserve. At about 06:30, we will cruise across the Periyar Lake to arrive at the central area of the reserve. Then we can spot a great variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, elephants, wild boar, antelopes, many rare bird species etc. We will return to the hotel to have breakfast after the two hours' wildlife viewing. Then we check out of the hotel and drive 4 hours to Munnar, which is 160kms away.



DAY 08



Munnar





Situated at the confluence of the Madhurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers, Munnar is a hill station in south India featuring natural beauty, serenity and cool climate. We will have a guided morning tour to the green carpeted tea gardens and the Eravikulam National Park (it is closed in the month of January and February). You can see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat) in this park. You will have the afternoon free on your own to relax or look around and see what might be of interest.



DAY 09



Munnar - Cochin





After breakfast, we will drive 150kms to Cochin. You will spend 4 hours on the way.


Facing the Arabian Sea, the port city of Cochin is crowned as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea" for having rich sea transportation since several centuries ago. The group of traditional Portuguese, British and Spanish architectures and European churches in its old city also add to the attraction of the place. In the evening, you will be entertained by the famous Kathakali Dance Performance.



DAY 10



Departure from Cochin





A half day city tour is scheduled for you today. You will first visit the St. Francis Church, which is the oldest church in India. Following that, you will see the Dutch Palace (built by the Portuguese), the Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue, the spice market and the Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets.


Afterwards, our guide will see you off at the airport to board your onward flight. Wish you a nice journey back home!
