Today have a half day tour in Jodhpur. First visit the Mehrangarh Fort situated in a 125 meters high hill. There are a number of attractions within the fort. Then visit the Fort museum and Jaswant Thada. Lying to the west of the fort complex, Jaswant Thada is a cluster of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. It was built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. There are also many portraits of Jodhpur rulers.
After finishing the visit of Jodhpur, we will travel to Udaipur via Randakpur. En route see some marvelously carved Jain temples in Ranakpur, and then continue driving to Udaipur, a beautiful city with palaces mirrored in the lake and the narrow lanes flanked by bright gardens, stalls, temples etc.
