DAY 01



Arrive Delhi





Welcome to India. Our guide and driver will wait for you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check in. As the third largest city of India, Delhi is the capital divided into two parts, one is Old Delhi and the other is New Delhi. There are many important historic relics remained in old town while the new town shows the modernizations of India. Old Delhi used to be the capital of Mughal Empire for a long time and New Delhi is a young city built in 1911. Upon arrival, you can make use of the reminder of the day to explore this charming city and arrange the activities by yourself.



DAY 02



Delhi





Your fantastic Indian trip starts from Old Delhi. This morning, you will set out to visit the great Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and even the world. The mosque is reputed as the "miracle of architecture" since there is no wood used and the grounds, walls and roof are all made of white stone. If you like, you may climb to the summit of the minaret at a small extra charge to enjoy a panoramic view of Delhi from above. Then, you will move on to Red Fort and visit Chandni Chowk en route. Chandni Chowk is a vibrant market giving you a taste of the real India. Taking rickshaw is a good option to go through this crowded market. At the end of the street, you will get to the Red Fort, which is the biggest royal palace built in 1647. You can spend one to two hours to walk around and enjoy the amazing architectures inside the fort.


Afternoon sightseeing will be carried out in New Delhi. Here you will first visit the Raj Ghat, a peaceful place to pay your respect to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of this nation. Please be aware that the shoes need to be removed when you enter the cemetery. Next, we will drive by India Gate, a must visit place for travelers who come to Delhi for first time. There is a park around the gate that provides a lovely spot for local people's recreational activities. After that, you will come to the President's House, originally named Vitoria Palace and served as the residence of ruler after independence. Round off the whole day tour by visit the Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar, two famous World Heritage Sites in India.



DAY 03



Delhi - Kalka





After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station for a morning train to Kalka. Our guide will meet you on your arrival and escort you to check in the hotel.



DAY 04



Shimla





Shimla is a lovely small town stretching 12 kilometers along the mountain ranges with an altitude of 2205 kilometers. Numerous monuments are dotted here and the imposing European-style buildings are the reminder of the historical period when Britain ruled India. There are not much landscape sceneries but it is the most popular holiday resort for tourists to relax and rest due to its pleasant weather. You can stroll around the Mall Road where a variety of shops lined along the streets. Built in 1846, Christ Church is the landmark of the town square. Walking down the square, you will reach Scandal Point. Besides, the Viceregal Lodge, Jakhu hill and St. Micheal's Cathedral are all worth your exploring.



DAY 05



Shimla - Kullu - Manali





Today you will be transferred to Manali via Kullu. Kullu is a small mountain village situated in the north of India. The fresh air and tranquil atmosphere here attract thousands of travelers from home and abroad. Drive for another 24 miles, you will arrive at Manali, a beautiful place where you can see the snow-capped mountain ranges and the clear Beas River. The lush deodars, pine forest, small grassland and the harvest orchards are standing beside the river. Reputed as the Switzerland in India, Manali is the most popular holiday resort for mountaineers. There are numerous shops selling the exquisite carpets and handicrafts from Tibet and restaurants offering the delicious local snacks. Visitors here can do some adventure sports like hiking, skiing, mountain biking or just stay at a comfortable guesthouse to enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and stroll around leisurely.



DAY 06



Manali





This morning, we will drive for 3 kilometers to explore the Old Manali. Then, you are scheduled to visit Vaishisht, Rohtang Pass and Solang Nullah, a heaven for tourists who are fond of adventure. The way to Rohtang Pass is just amazing with beautiful mountains and it is an attractive place where you can enjoy snow and skiing.



DAY 07



Manali - Chandigarh





Today, you will leave Manali for Chandigarh by car and the transfer takes around 6 hours. Check in at a local hotel on your arrival.



DAY 08



Chandigarh - Delhi





Take a train from Chandigarh to Delhi after breakfast. Upon arrival, our guide will pick you up at the railway station and escort you to check in the hotel.



DAY 09



Departure from Delhi





Check out of the hotel before 12 o'clock and you will be transferred to the airport to take your international flight.
